Many people are unaware that horseshoe pitching is an organized sport. Just as bowling has associations and leagues, horseshoe pitching is governed by the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (NHPA), which has more than 13,000 members across the United States, Canada, and other countries. Every state has at least one NHPA charter, and Missouri's charter is the Missouri Horseshoe Pitchers Association (MOHPA), which proudly has the second-largest membership in the nation. By becoming a member, you can compete at the local, state, and national levels.

Membership in the Quail Ridge Horseshoe Club (QRHC) includes your local (QRHC), state (MOHPA), and national (NHPA) memberships. Annual dues may vary slightly based on local, state, and national membership fees. As a member, you'll receive the QRHC Newsletter, Shoebiz from MOHPA, and the Newsline from NHPA—all filled with valuable horseshoe pitching news, tournament updates, and club information. The Quail Ridge Horseshoe Club of St. Charles County is proud to offer one of the finest indoor horseshoe pitching facilities in the United States. Opened in October 2007 at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville, Missouri, the facility features 16 climate-controlled indoor courts, 16 outdoor courts, and the National Horseshoe Pitchers Hall of Fame & Museum. Conveniently located near the I-70 and Highway 40/61 interchange, the club offers league play and sanctioned tournaments throughout the year.
